City lunch!/ Miejski lunch

This week we were supposed to write about food.
As everybody knows I'm not the biggest fun of cooking but I loooooooove eating, I really do!
That's why I board up frequently ( what makes my wallet suffer;))

To be informed about current promotions and new restaurants in Poznań I recommended you to like "Miejski Lunch" on Facebook.

I'm sure that you have already seen this sign somewhere in the city. It can be found in restaurants or cafes that participe in this, let's say, project.

Since during last class, we were talking about different kinds of shops etc. I'd like to show you a video ( that has nothing to do with food) concering second hand shop (I guess;)). I really enjoy the way the video was made.

Monday.

 The end of the world came again: MONDAY. Do you feel the same?
After this long (yeah, not too long, really) weekend, it's time to go back to study, work and other boring stuff;)

Actually, my break finished yesterday afternoon- I sat in front of my computer and I stayed there  many hours doing a nice translation concerning phenomenology or something similiar...

THIS HAS TO BE A PUNISHMENT, that's for sure.

Soooooooooo.....to start pleasantly this "come back to school" I encourage you to watch this short song created by one of Polish cabarets who are known rather thanks to commercials then floor shows but still, they are great! <3

Hobby.

Everyone should have a hobby.

Some of you like sport, some of you adore music, I love...... procrastinating!

Do you know a definition of procrastination?

 As Wiki says: "In psychology, procrastination refers to the act of replacing more urgent actions with tasks less urgent, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time. In accordance with Freud, the pleasure principe may be responsible for procrastination; humans prefer avoiding negative emotions, and delaying a stressful task."

Shortly: I ought to do some "researches" for my MA thesis but, suddenly, I realize that I need to clean the appartement, do some laundry etc;)

Do you procrastinate sometimes? I'm sure you do!

Shopping!

Salut!

How you're doing?:D Are you having fun during this sunny and nice weekend? I am and I know that I'm gonna regret this tomorrow's evening when I'll realize how many things I should have done but I haven't ;) (the same thing every week..yeah...)

But actually this post ought to be about something else.. about shopping!

Most of you ( I mean people who are reading this super-extra blog) are women, so I think you're gonne like it:)

Saturday... what this particular day of the week make you think about? Yes,yes,yes, SECOND HANDS!

Do you shop in second hands? I do! However it demands a lot of efforts! You have to be patient and have "a good eye". My best friend is the best at searching for bargains in second hands. She found me this amaizing jumper :

I guess that's a nice opportunity for students to economise some money and then spent it during parties <3

Just one more thing.. The most important thing for go shopping is..........HANDS!

Keep calm and go to the gym!

The spring finally came!
This is the time of the year when we start thinking about our shape. We want to be more fit (or, at least, not to get incredibly tired after chasing a bus or a tram;))
That's why, everybody buys an open carnet for fitness and gym, starts jogging, rides bike and so on..
Why would  we do such exhausting things?! Maybe motivation comes naturally with age?

Not really, I guess.

I won't tell you what inspired me to write this post because it's kind embarassing, buuuuut I will show you how I look at gym!

6th Congress of Polish Canadianists

"Center for Canadian Literature invites everybody to the 6th Congress of Polish Canadianists “The Peaceable Kingdom? Cultural and language communities in Canada and the rule of law", 5-7 April 2013. The conference is organized by the Faculty of English and the Institute of Romance Studies....."

This weekend, I and some of my friends, we had an opportunity to participated in Congress of Polish Canadianists. This event reminds me of a hilarious video concering capacity of speaking foreign language:)

During the Congress I could meet people who were bilingual or multilingual. I really enjoyed speeches when the speaker was changing a language fluenty and unconsciously (French, English, what's the difference..;)). How do they do that?! I'm a bit envious because I'll never be able to do the same thing with my English and French. The world is so unfair..

But! I know somebody that exquisitely speaks foreign language and, what's more, has an amazing accent that everybody would like to achieve!

Let's leave our Canadianists behind and spend a few minutes with....:)

What a pity!

I wouldn't be another Easter post as you could expect.

Today is one of the worst days of my life. Guess what just happened to me?!
My beloved mobile phone died a violent death in a puddel  at PKS station! What a pity! What a disaster!
It was the best phone ever! I wish I could have it back ;(

If only I had been more careful! But no... as always.

Today I'm in mourning.

Let's memorialize this tragic death by one-minute silence.

I regret not appreciating my mobile more when "he" was still alive!
